This award recognises excellence in vessel design, build quality, and real-world functionality — and being acknowledged by one of the most respected global voices in the maritime industry is a significant milestone for Sea Transport and everyone involved in the project.
Baird Maritime and Work Boat World assess nearly 400 new vessels each year, with winners selected following in-depth reviews conducted throughout the year. The awards are judged on practical performance, innovation, and suitability for purpose — criteria that align closely with Sea Transport’s approach to marine engineering and project delivery.
As outlined by Baird Maritime, the Work Boat World Best Vessel Awards are presented to companies that have commissioned, designed, or built standout vessels within their category. With a global readership built over more than 40 years — including magazines, trade shows, conferences, and online platforms — the recognition places Island Odyssey firmly on the international stage.
