Design/Drawing/Stability Approval We are accredited by Queensland Transport to carry out design, drawing and stability compliance approvals for commercial vessels of any size. This entails issuing Queensland Transport Compliance Certificates necessary for commercial vessel registration.
Accredited Ship Designer Authorised to design commercial and fishing ships for Queensland Transport.
Queensland Transport Accreditation Certificate No ASD/032.
The accreditation is for the categories of:
- Hull and Superstructure of vessels built of:
- Aluminium
- Steel
- Fibre Reinforced Plastic
- Machinery – including propulsion, associated systems and electrical (c)
- Safety Equipment
- Load Line
- Stability including Subdivision
(c) Condition – machinery category. Electrical restricted to extra low voltage only and excludes pressure vessel.
Accredited Marine Surveyor
Authorised to survey commercial and fishing ships for Queensland Registration.

Quality Assurance System
QA is implemented by STS based on AS/NZS/IOS 9001 1994 as required by Queensland Department of Transport for Accredited Designers and Surveyors. |
